St Heliers House, Luxury House Design by Pete Bossley Architects

Designed by Pete Bossley Architects. This luxury house with many facilities such us swimming pool, tennis court, and large yard with green gross and palm tree. Extremely sculptural the house incorporates exciting changes in spatial volumes, forms and massing. The limited palette of colors and materials ensures coherency and allows the house to come to life with the impact of natural and artificial light.

Water is a continuing theme which starts at the Main Entry pools and reappears as a cascade falling from swimming pool toward tennis court and continues as a dramatic sculpture/fountain addressing the street.

Woodside House Design by Dubbeldam Design Architects

November 22, 2015 Contemporary House Design

Located in St. Williams, Ontario, Woodside House was designed by Dubbeldam Design Architects. Situated in the corner of a large farm overlooking fields of barley, the house is conceived as a L-shaped volume defining an outdoor courtyard garden. Full-height windows look into the courtyard, creating the perception of an outdoor room that extends the interior space, and allows views across both wings of the house for a feeling of openness. Opposing clerestory windows provide privacy to the public face of the building as well as excellent natural ventilation.

Contemporary House Design

A simple pitched roof pavilion was added to an existing federation period home. The pavilion features exposed beams and a plywood lined ceiling framing an open-plan room with galley kitchen along one wall and a series of dining, lounge and entertaining areas opening out onto the plunge pool. The pavilion is flanked by a series of timber platforms framed by a pergola that extends the full length of the yard and terminates in a seating area where you can soak up the last of the afternoon sun. The home continues to impress the owners who feel it is more enjoyable to live in with each year that passes. [ Designed by CplusC Architects ]
