Many extraordinary live oaks populate the property and frame a picturesque view of the Colorado River, Essentially an enclave, the house is free to open to the out-of-doors without fear of privacy being invaded by neighboring properties.

The desire for a new kitchen, a revamped master bedroom, a more efficient plan, and higher level of finish led to a multifaceted renovation where very little of the existing house was left untouched. Light and view are embraced throughout the design. A delicate, purpose-made steel and glass extension in the living room makes room for e new piano and emphasizes the connection to the site.
