Description from Architect:
Designed for an engineering group of technology hardware company, the primary goal was to create open office areas for highly collaborative interaction and to maximize natural light. Each open area is divided by a project room that is used as meeting space, lab and product testing room. All spaces are totally transparent, yet motorized window coverings are provided to allow for flexibility and immediate privacy. Smaller meeting rooms were built along the building core, for impromptu meetings and personal privacy. Designed by Garcia Tamjidi

Lighting designed by TOKEN explores ways to limit energy consumption, while maintaining an aesthetic integrity of form. They understand the design challenges presented by newly available, high efficiency light source technologies and are committed to an on going pursuit of integrating CFL and LED light sources into visually compelling lighting design.

This is X Table Base was designed by Art Office
X Table Base description :
Using two graphic forms as the simple inspiration for this table base, the form morphs from an “X” at the base to a square at the top. Designed to be a functional and sculptural piece, the form and its shell construction invite viewers to experience the play of light on the exterior and interior of the piece. built from 40 layers of stacked 12mm birch fin-ply, each layer is different, yet cut with precision and consistency with the use of CNC technology.
