This is Sea Ranch Residence in Southern End of The Sea Ranch was designed by Turbull Griffin Haesloop Architects. Located at the southern end of The Sea Ranch on a narrow lot with adjacent neighbors, the master bedroom structure was pulled apart from the main house and linked with a deck to frame the ocean view and let the landscape and exterior living space take center stage on the site. Here are the pictures of Atherton Residence, designed by Turnbull Griffin Haesloo Architercts. Located on the peninsula south of San Francisco, this house sits on an internal suburban flag lot. The house is heated with a radiant system in the stone floors, and despite the hot climate it is not air conditioned, but passively cooled with a combination of overhangs, shades, and operable windows. The house also features many green building materials, including high fly-ash concrete, formaldehyde-free casework and denim insulation. Designed to take full advantage of its secluded location on a crest in the Malibu hill, and the breathtaking views that site provides, the one-story courtyard home’s white plaster exterior is enhanced by its contrast with the blue sky and nearby ocean.
