Situated on a hillside site inland from the coast of southern Spain, this luxury house was designed by Peter Thomas de Cruz. Adding to the sense of spectacle the house is dramatically cut in two perpendicular to the gallery with a glass-floored dining space bridging the gap between the two halves and linking the cooking space to the living space. The parallel gallery sits astride an internal pool and, when all the glazing is fully retracted, both the gallery and the dining space become bridges fully open to the air. The calmness of the house is accentuated by water flowing from the gallery courtyard pool down over a slate-finished waterfall beneath the dining room to meet the lowest of the two connected swimming pools. This Villa in the woods Soest, the Netherlands was designed by Zecc Architect. The slope of the plot is thus strengthened the local housing as a rock from the ground shape. By bending the ground from the basement is also possible to have garden views. The materialization is rocky and passes through the terraces, making it real in the dwelling.
A major theme in the house is the spaciousness between the three floors. From the basement to the first floor is a mezzanine floors all together in relationship brings. From the front door is a sight line on the atrium directly into the garden. This vide its functions as a toilet, wardrobe and cupboard. The parapets and support functions for the loft walk smoothly through this and provide a link between the three sculptural floor.

Lien Residence, single storey home in Singapore with planted roof. Designed by Singapore studio Ministry of Design. The interior devided into three sections – an entertainment zone, a family zone and a private master zone. The interior is very amazing, combination of wood floors with clear glass walls covered interior room, so saving lighting energy during the day time. Planted roof, if viewed from above looks like a green garden grass, something unique and not yet widely implemented. We like this house, how about you? Via DigsDigs.
